MED LINK was born in 2003 as international freight forwarder.
Since then Med Link developed his business, he increased his international market by offering customized logistic and transport services worldwide.
Med Link is a small and dynamic Company able to offer the right solution to any customer needs.
During 2006, with cooperation of GMA Garnet Europe GmbH we built a Recycling Plant of GARNET product (abrasive sand) which is used to cut materials with water jet machines. This Recycling Plant was the first in Europe to reprocess GARNET sludge coming from water jet cutting and blasting industry.
In 2010 after years of experience, technical improvements and new investments, we built a new Garnet Recycling Plant in AULLA, MS inside an area of 1750 sqm, with the capacity to reprocess up to 15.000 Tons of sludge per year.
Med Link today is also managing their own Bonded and Fiscal warehouses to store bulk cargo and packed cargo as follow:

Since 2010, in our Head Quarter located at AULLA, MS we manage a Bonded, Fiscal and Domestic warehouse of about 6500 sqm. From our depot, we offer a temporary cargo import operation and distribution for all Europe and Mediterranean Countries.
Our warehouse is also equipped with a certified ISO 9001 scale to weight export cargo in containers as per VGM/SOLAS procedure (dir 497/2016) effective from July 1st, 2016.

MED LINK factory has designed to operate as recycling plant for used abrasive sand (GARNET), coming from water-jet applications and blasting industry.
The Company Med Link, is authorized to store (R13) and to recycle waste material (R5) for following E.W.C. codes:
- 01.04.13 waste from stone cutting and sawing other than those mentioned in 01 04 07
- 12.01.17 waste abrasive material other than those mentioned in 12 01 16
- 12.01.15 machining sludges other than those mentioned in 12 01 14
This plant, the sole in Italy, is finalized to recover the mineral (Garnet) which is utilized in the stone cutting, iron and steel working, glass -working industries, since the Garnet has a high commercial value as raw material and due to a growing market demand.
The recycle process is specialized and focused to recover the abrasive sand, made of Australian almandine mineral, of alluvial origin belonging to garnet group, which are amongst the hardest abrasive minerals.
The recycling process goes through different steps of draying, selection, screening, grain size separation of abrasive sand.
This reprocessing activity removes wet and no garnet product including plastic, metals and no metals, glassware, dust and particles to allow the reprocessed Garnet working again in the different industry activity.
The cleaning process and grain size separation of recycled Garnet can be calibrated depending on the end user requirements and field of activity.
The Garnet product due to his mineral structure and his hardness can be recycled several times without loose his abrasive capacity.

In the two customs warehouses, we are able to store about twenty thousand tons of bulk abrasive sand as well as 1,500 tons of packaged goods.
